The Spring 2026 Season is based on Spring 2026 ages.
Shetland 6U Minors: (Tee ball)
The Shetland division is for youth
league age 5 and 6. This division is designed to build fundamentals and confidence in the young players.
Hitting is performed from a tee. As the season progresses, the coach may opt to go to coach pitch, soft toss pitching or machine pitch.
Typically players are in Pre-K & Kindergarten (or younger 1st graders).
Game length: 3 innings or 1 hour (whichever comes first)
Shetland 6U Majors (More Experienced Shetland players - Machine Pitch) The Shetland "Majors" division is for the more experienced players who are
league age 5 and 6. This division will hold assessments, draft teams and begin with players hitting off the
machine for a Pinto "light" experience to continue to build fundamentals.
Minimum 1-2 seasons of experience recommended.
Typically players are in Pre-K & Kindergarten (or younger 1st graders).
Game length: 3 innings or 1 hour (whichever comes first)
Pinto 8U: (Machine Pitch) The Pinto division is for youth who are
league age 7 and 8. Hitting fundamentals are developed by using a pitching machine during the games.
Typically players are in 1st & 2nd grade (or younger 3rd graders).
Game length: Up to 6 innings. No new innings after 1 hour 45 minutes, maximum of 2 hours 10 minutes.
Mustang 10U: (Kid Pitch) The Mustang division is for youth
league age 9 and 10. Players pitch from 46 feet and the base paths are 60 feet.
Typically players are in 3rd & 4th grade (or younger 5th graders).
Game length: Up to 6 innings. No new innings after 1 hour 50 minutes.
Bronco 12U: Bronco division is for youth
league age 11 and 12. Bronco players pitch from 50 feet and base paths are 70 feet.
Typically players are in 5th & 6th grade (or younger 7th graders).
Game length: Up to 7 innings. No new innings after 2 hours 15 minutes.
