Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - League Play Update

All League Activities, Practices and Games
Suspended Until 4/30/2020

Dear Mission Bay Families, Friends, Coaches and Players:

The suspension of league play is extended at this time through April 30.

Official PONY Baseball Guidance on Covid-19

In accordance with the PONY Organization's guidance as well as the City of
San Diego Public Health Office newest guidelines, we are acting in the best
interest of the health of our kids and families at this time to adhere to the broad
"stay-at-home" orders from our government.

We understand the importance that baseball plays in our kid's lives and how
central it can be to our families this time of year. We will be in regular contact
with PONY Baseball and monitor the San Diego Public Health office and the
CDC recommendations for guidance on how best to continue regular activity.

Please be on the lookout over the next few weeks for additional information from
the league on how we are proceeding. We will be identifying all of the impacted
elements of this delay on our season and how best to mitigate the effects. If we
are able to resume, we will work to make up as many missed games as possible.
Our goal is to get back to league play as soon as it is deemed broadly safe to do so.

We apologize for the disruption this causes and hope everyone understands that
we are acting for the safety of our children, families and community. We wish for
everyone to stay safe and informed. If you have any questions at all, please contact
us through our league email and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Thank you all for your understanding and support of Mission Bay Youth Baseball.
We will be working diligently behind the scenes to get our season back on track as
smoothly and quickly as possible.
