Q:  My Shetland player would like to play on the same team with his friends/ we need to carpool with our friends/ there are several parents who want to share coaching duties. Is this OK?

A: Shetland is a great time for parents to coach with minimal commitment...one practice per week & one game per week.  This is a very special opportunity that your family will always remember. Join up with other families you know to share the coaching & team parent responsibilities. Priority will be given to Shetland coaches to request certain players to be on their team. All other requests to play on a team with a friend will be accommodated if possible.  Note that it is important for us to mix ages on Shetland teams to try to keep ability levels even.

Q:  My Pinto/Mustang/Bronco/Pony player would like to play on the same team with his friends/ we need to carpool with our friends/ there are several parents who want to share coaching duties. Is this OK?

A. Starting at Pinto level, teams are selected by a coach draft that has very strict rules on how players are selected. The board can only relay requests to the coaches, but we cannot implement placement of players on specific teams, per our MBYB bylaws. We thank you in advance for your understanding that we will strictly abide by this policy.

Q:  My player has Karate on Wednesdays & piano on Mondays, how can MBYB accommodate our schedule?

A.  MBYB is a non-profit, volunteer, community organization. Our volunteer coaches schedule practices based on their schedules along with practice field availability. We thank you in advance for your understanding that MBYB is unable to make schedule or team changes to accommodate individual player schedules.

Q: I can't come up with the full registration amount at this time. What can I do?
