Welcome to Mission Bay Youth Baseball!
MBYB is a non-profit organization focused on the personal growth & development of children through the great game of baseball. We are a member of the SW Region of PONY Baseball, serving local communities such as Pacific Beach, Mission Beach & Bird Rock, but players are welcome from anywhere in San Diego.

Divisions are as follows: (Player’s age as of August 31)

• Shetland (Ages 5 and 6, four-year olds may play with parent involvement)
• Pinto (Ages 7 and 8)
• Mustang (Ages 9 and 10)
• Bronco (Ages 11 and 12)
• Pony (Ages 13 and 14)  
  

There is an assessment at the end of January for Pinto division and above to help create even teams.  Practices will start in February for all divisions after teams have been formed.

The regular season runs from the end of February through mid-May. 

During the regular season, Shetland players can expect to have one practice and one game per week. All other divisions typically have one practice during the week, one game during the week, and one game on weekends, usually Saturday.
